Monson Savings Promotes Daniel Moriarty to Senior Vice President
Monson Savings has announced the promotion of Daniel R. Moriarty, Sr. to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Dan joined the bank in November 1998 as Accounting Manager. He was promoted to Controller in 2002, to Assistant Vice President in 2004, Vice President in 2006 and Chief Financial Officer in 2009. A member of the bank's senior leadership team, he is responsible for leading the bank's financial functions, operations, and reporting.
Dan graduated with honors from both Providence College and the National School of Banking at Fairfield University. He resides in Monson with his wife Lorri and their three children.
Dan is active in his community on several boards, councils, and committees including the Monson Home for Aged, St. Patrick's Finance Council, and the Monson Tornado Victims Relief Fund. He's also been a coach for various youth teams for over 20 years.
